Pig
I bought the Powerhouse racing fuel system, only to discover that the aeromotive fuel filter is too small. Do any of the traders sell bigger ones? I spotted envy sell the AEM one but not sure if they will fit etc. What are some of other singles running?
michel lane
i sell an AEM fuel filter , you can run the standard -8an lines to it , but i tend to just run 1, -10an line .The filters are quite expensive , £65 with the 2 -8an converters. Its red .

RobSheffield
IIRC most large singles use the Aero one, but i could be wrong, im just goin to use an aero one but mine will only run amax of 1.4 bar

RobSheffield
IIRC Jon the PHR kits will support lots of power (and therefore lots of fuel)
Steve
Rob i saw the filter at TF (BBQ), it is tiny compared to some of the others. Even compared to stock.
JamieP
the small one out of the powerhouse racing kits? I dont know what size it is, never had any fueling issues with it though, ran the T88 at 1.8 bar with it.

JamieP
Hard to tell from the pic but im sure mine is bigger than that, size wont matter though its flow that will matter, as long as its the right size fitting i cant see it being an issue.
michel lane
You can change the fitment at the end , just purchase an adapter ranging from -6 to -12an .

Surely if its one of their biggest fuel systems they would supply an adequate filter?
Chris Wilson
Suddenly remembered I have some of these proper race fuel filters, dismantlable, with Aeroquip hose fittings. A fortune new, these have done 2 hours on an engine dyno only, on a Judd race engine. The dyno has its own filtration, these filters were there to check there flow on a 700 HP engine (they were fine). 60 quid plus P&P http://www.chriswilson.tv/filter.jpg
ajazyasin
Aeroq filters are not restrictive at all. Take all the fittings off and you will see what i mean. you can look stright through it. There is only one very fine mesh inside. Also you can dismantle it for cleaning. Im running 2 of these filters, one for each feed.
