Tom S
It'll be good to see you all again at JAE. Where the beers will be flowing and as ever we will all get hammered and talk of good and bad times. there have been loads of good times this last year. Which I am thankful for. For those that don't remember or know. Tomorrow is the 2nd Anniversary of my mum's passing. Sure to be a monumental day. 1 to get wasted and think of the good times. Ewen
Both mine are gone, years back now. Both well before their time. They are still with me in spirit though, and although so much has happened and so many new additions to the family have appeared since their passing, I like to think they are proud of the way their offspring have all turned out. Just wish they had stuck around a wee while longer. My sympathies Tom.
juanchan
I'll join you all in that toast tomorrow evening. My grandfather died ten years ago when he was living with my parents and I didn't take it well. I always have a drink on 28th August in his memory. Think of all the good times mate and have a celebratory night as Mike suggested.

MrHanky
as said, just remember the good times My dad passed away 7 years ago a few months after my 21st but I struggle to remember the date. I try not to think about his death day but instead remember all the good times and especially his birthday. Life baffles me, he was 47 and had type 1 diabetes. He looked after himself very very well because of this and was a lot fitter than me Yet he died and one of his brothers who smokes like a chimney, does no exercise etc (he has type 1 diabetes too) and generally does nothing to help himself, is still going past 50.
