gaz1
why new ones ? just a precautionary measure trying to eliminate any future possible failures, as they do get brittle with age:rolleyes:

Homer
just a precautionary measure trying to eliminate any future possible failures, as they do get brittle with age:rolleyes: The things that go brittle are the coil pack connectors - not the coil packs. Coil packs shouldn't fail with age

Gamer
Coil packs can and do fail due to age/heat. They develop small cracks in them. I had that problem with them in my Soarer which are basically the same as the Supra.

Homer
Okay, it was a bit of a sweeping statement. What I'm getting at is they're hardly an item you'd replace 'just in case' (like the connectors).

Mike M
I think you'll feel the benefit mate, I fitted 6 new ones a few weeks back and the car felt great but I did have a slight misfire before fitting these. All mine were pretty badly cracked cracked btw.
