garetheves
Anyone got any experience with any of the online DVD rental companies. Going in for a minor op next week and having a week off after it so fancy blitzing all the free dvd rentals that they offer and catch up on a load of films ive missed. What companies other than blockbuster would people recommend?
Pete
LoveFilm is very good. I've been using it a couple of years now. Fast turn around.
terribleturner
Yeah im with lovefilm and think they are very very good. Heard alot of stories about other companies not being as on the ball. I'm on the 3 dvd's at a time one and if i send them back Monday morning i 9 times out of ten have another 3 Wednesday morning.
Kittyclaws
Yes, Lovefilm were the best i have used. Blockbuster were good for the trial period only. As for Tescos. they were crap from start to finish(and i mean really crap)
Kranz
Lovefilm are supposed to be really good & fast. A lot of people I know are using them & have nothing bad to say at all. Cheap too!
Faye
Some of the quality of the DVDs from Lovefilm are appalling though, its like someone has been skating on them!
lust2luv
Yeah, what's up with that, even quite recent movies are scratched to buggery, do people throw them round the room like frisbees or something? Typical of the lack of respect people have these days (getting old rant).
garetheves
Is there a minimum join period with lovefilm. Like i said i only really need the service for a week or so, hence why the free trial from blockbuster sounds appealing.
lust2luv
Lovefilm do a month's free trial usually - might be limited to 5 or 6 DVDs though.
terribleturner
Actually now it's just mentioned i've had about 3-5% of my discs come scratched and had to order a replacement.
Charlotte
Tescos is great, I think they're currently doing a 3 month free trial too. All the discs seem to be brand new.

That will do me dont think ill get through much more than that in a week, especially if i use the blockbuster one as well. Dont you just love playing the system

Charlotte
Just found out Tesco is powered by Lovefilm. Hahaha excellent. Well maybe they have to put on a better face for tesco customers?!

This really annoys me - some people just don't care about stuff do they? Never had one that doesn't play properly though.
