Surely if you change down from 20" to 17" for the really spirited driving/track driving, you will have to have all the geometery and suspension re-done. And the same when you go back to the 20s??

yep! Any change in suspension will affect the Geo, Ride hight, wheels etc

I have 20's.If you do it your stupid,

cons;

I feel every bump

The ride is very harsh

most of my alloys have dents in the inner alloy wall as the tyre wall is so thin and the roads here are crap and bumpy.

Tyres are exspensive

Handling is crap, a saxo could go round a roundabout quicker then me.

Pros:

they look good on a wideboy.

Id have 19's anyday!

Do you run huge spacers on them or are they the right offset?

Spacers, 10mm I think at the front and 35mm at the back, could get away with prob 25 /30 at back but the arches need to be filled for the look. You'll see on sunday.

So not perfect :(

Im just wondering if its them that makes the car handel bad and not so much the size, mine is fine on 19's:)

See ya sunday bud.
