supRo Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 You mean you manual drivers actually use 6th gear when doing less than a 100? I'm in 6th gear sometimes doing less than 100! Maybe even 60'ish miles, cruising in motorway traffic. I just make sure the Engine doesn't sound it's labouring too much. Robbie Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 Auto's seem to have gone out of fashion all of a sudden! I think the auto is great. Tuned correctly, I still get 20+ mpg, even with a high stall. Every time Ive been to pod the return journey down the motorway to london, moves along at a snails pace, stop, start, stop start.
