Gazboy Posted January 27, 2007 Share Posted January 27, 2007 On an open pitlane trackday, what would be a sensible amount of laps before the car could do with cooling off for a bit- I'm assuming should you have enough fuel that 3 hours would destroy the car.... michael Posted January 27, 2007 Share Posted January 27, 2007 20 > 30 minutes is usually enough for the car and the driver, normal days run 30 minute sessions with a warm up and cool down lap. I reckon 20-25 minutes or so at a time is about right. You will run out of fuel before 3 hours is up, it's easy to not notice and run out of fuel, which would be highly embarassing...
