Guest mk47
you get it every time you take your foot off accelaration. ive got a sard r2d2 and it sounds really good. if you plant your foot to the ground you can hear a slight "chh" as it changes gears but very briefly as the gears are changing really fast. Guest mk47
none of the bovs require welding etc if your putting it in the stock bov location. all youll need is silicon pipes and clamps and a little bit of vaccuum hose, and a bung to block off one of the connections. i bought my 'fitting kit' locally and it cost under £20 for everything. MarkTheBoy
Buy it, fit it, smile One of the first things I did when I bought my auto, I bought the HKS SSQV from Nic (importpimp) spent half hour fitting it and haven't stopped grinning since. Fitting is a piece of cake and theres plenty of guides/advice/pictures on here to make it even easier. its a great piece of kit and a bargain from Nic. For that extra bit of 'yes, its a turbo' coolness you should sort yourself out with a boost guage too... looks the nuts and helps you see your progress if you decide to carry on modding. Bought mine on fleabay, only about 30quid!

Scoboblio
Nope, it's a re-circ jobby. Not sure why you'd get chatter off of it.

SupraJames
Have heard you can get "chatter" buy removing the stock BOV all together and blocking both ends off. Not recommended on Supras really but my mate does it on his Evo 6 TME and sounds awesome. I have a Blitz Induction kit and a Greddy BOV, there is a vid knocking around somewhere so I will try and find it and post it up.
Sheefa
Well, it's deffo there and intact. I have a HKS Induction kit, I know, I know, fitted by previous owner though. I'll take a pic of the valve and a sound recording tonight.
Stonkin
Its the induction kit thats making the stock bov sound louder i think Sheefa

Scott
Ahh now its making sense. I don't think that will be the BOV, i'm pretty sure that will be the turbo through the air filter as i get the same on my MR2 with the Recirc. Its nowhere near as loud as a BOV though. Sheefa
Ah OK thanks guys. Was looking at a HKS SSQV from Nic. May get it now, but am pretty happy with the sound from the Induction Kit and Stock BOV.
