maybe somebody thinks only Engines and Electrics are technical :D

 

BTW everybody I talk to (e.g. the bodyshop man) says "Nooooooooo you don't" when I say I want to be able to do what you do.

 

Say I want to learn, could I not just go buy a door from a scrap yard, give it a good kick in the middle, then attempt to repair it? Books? Tutorials?

Get an apprenticeship with the body shop. You too can then spray over rubber seals and fit leaky panels, and get paid for it :sly:
