Jamie,

Slightly off topic but why the change of heart to a smaller turbo? Driveability rather than all-out speed?

Just wanted to see what it would be like to be honest having boost from very low rpm... and so far im impressed, just hope that it dont run out of puff when i start pushing it:)

By the time it runs out of puff you'd be well on your way to a 'pound you in the ass' prison stretch.:D

Are you venturing up north at any time? Wouldn't mind a look if that's alright.

At the moment its 0.8bar... full boost is hit @3500 but dan hopes to be able to lower that next time.

As its hitting full boost @ 3.5K rpm, what would the fuel consumption be like on the motorway......

I know for a monster that it is fuel consumption shouldnt be a concern, but for when I would drop in a single and the amount of miles that I do, I would like to find the right compromise between driveability, power / torque & fuel economy, etc.

I would not think it would make any difference what revs the boost comes in as you dont have to put your foot down to make positive boost. if you want to see what its like your welcome to pop round.

Thats a very good point....

Thx for the offer, i'll take you up on this....in the next few days.

Fuel consumption..... AEM Wideband gauge linked into the AEM ECU means that we can set a target A/F ratio for when Jamie is cruising down the motorway. 14.7 is perfect for fuel/oxygen consumption. 15.1 for economy (EGT can be monitored by the AEM ECU too keeping it safe) I reckon Jamies car will be one of the better ones when it comes to fuel economy. (Gamers has been running pretty lean lately though! sorted now!)
