CJ Posted December 5, 2006 Share Posted December 5, 2006 Rant Alert! I have a car due to go out tomorrow after having extensive body work and other things done to it. Part of the refurb was new front leather seats. The chap doing them has been superb and helped me out in a tight deadline. Anyway, we booked the courier to collect them on Friday for delivery on Monday. They turned up and refused to take them as they were not wrapped up! WTF!! They had big labels on them saying where they were due to go but no, that wasn't good enough for Mr. Jobsworth. So they got picked up yesterday instead. It is now 13.00 and they still haven't arrived! Another part of the job was to put on CF dash panels. These were paid for and ordered from a chap on Ebay on the 20th November and finally arrived on last Friday. I took them to the body shop yesterday and they have just rung me to say that 2 of the supplied panels are incorrect and wont fit So that leave me in the hot brown sticky stuff as the customer wants the car tomorrow. I ordered a facelift version not a standard one So if anyone wants a cheap facelift CF set, please let me know. Also, the lather seats have now arrived and are fitted and look superb. That's why I would use lots of bubble wrap and cardboard. These delivery monkeys just don't give a pooh about the stuff they're handling. We're paranoid about everything we ship here.
