Dyer864
hello, has being new to the supra club, and not knowing to much about the car, and just picked up my 1994 import sz, found out there wasn't as much go in car as i first thought and phoned the garage to say if there was any problems, and asked if it was limited or not, and they said it was ! just a quick question , what kind of gains am i likely to find when the car has been de-limited. :search:
Sheefa
Limited to 155, add another 30mph I'd say if it's in good condition. Can't remember if the SZ is TT model? Only another 30mph if so. NA will probably halt around that mark anyway or less. I would of though it would go some anyway.
Nic
The SZ is an NA, they are limited to 112mph. The limiter does not limit performance, it limits top speed only. If the car does not feel as though it is running well, it might be worth getting another member local to you to have a test drive to see if it is okay or not. Sheefa
112 - that's quite low isn't it Nic. Not disagreeing with figure at all mate, just surprisingly low for a 3ltr, especially when the new 1.1 Micras reach that!
Max Headroom
Its the law in Japan all cars are limited to 112mph
Mas
by law every Jap car is limited to 180KM (112 MPH) and delimiting the speedo doesnt make the car perform better as Nic just said!!!
