CJ Posted November 13, 2006 Share Posted November 13, 2006 Lara has just rang me to say that she is sat in her car and the key fob button to allow her to start the car is not working. I think it is the remote fob that she uses to lock the car. That also acts as an ignition starter when you turn on the ignition - if that makes sense. Normally you can open the doors using the keyfob blipper thing & start the engine. If you take more than 30 seconds to start it re-immobilises & the lozenge thingy needs to be stuck into the dash bit. I'm on form with technical descriptions tonight!! Yeah, you turn the ignition on, press the button, a couple of lights come on and then you turn the key the last little bit. It doesn't work if the car is in gear though, I think! lockys96 Posted November 14, 2006 Share Posted November 14, 2006 i think your alarm has just pantsed up. mine did it. i locked it and came back and could not open with the clifford key fob. you can overide the car if you know what your 4 digit code is. you should have a code on the back of the key fob, and should have some buttons where you can enter the code in. i had to have mine reset Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
