Mike M
Cool, I went to see them at Knockhill in 95. Used to have a poster with clelands autograph. Think it was 95 cant remember now. White/Yellow Vectras, Yellow lagunas and silver A4's. Oh and volvo saloons, 94 had the estates.

psymon
Totally agree. Renault Laguna's, Volvo's , Alfa's great racing seemed to be closer then even with out this ballast thing they do these days and we had pitstops.
Mike M
94 was the best I've seen with Tarquini in the Alfa 155 and the two big Volvo estates barging round the track. Would love to find it on dvd somewhere.
Mike
Tarquini was an absolute nutter... I used to go to Croft every year to see the touring cars and the V6 Vectras... we used to stand on the corner (not sure if it had a name?) where the braking was so hard into the apex all the cars passed us on three wheels... very nice.. Bobbeh
I went to Snetterton in 93 or 94 I think, saw a nice Black Supra parked up on the Toyota stand and drooled heavily I was supporting the Carina Es back then as the old man owned one, but they didnt do much. The previous generation of Carina kicked ass though.

Thorin
Proper car, now you're talking! (760 turbo, not the FWD later stuff) Not the best handling whale car in the world but those engines could take some power
Chris Wilson
Now you need a Touring Car to go with it, might as well be something witha bit more grunt than grip, with the wheels at the corect end being driven: http://www.racecarsdirect.com/viewlisting.php?view=3595

Mike M
He He nice vid:) didn't know they did that. My mum and dad had one years ago, an old 'N' plate and then an old 'V'plate in maroon with orange seats. 2.1L I think and they were easy to accidently put in reverse instead of 1st. Those T5 R's would certainly give the labrador a fright in the back:d
