adi2009 Posted November 6, 2006 Share Posted November 6, 2006 I m in the process of overhauling the suspension, brakes etc. on my car and just had a thought of putting in a new shortblock sometime in the future. Is it necessary to get a shortblock blueprinted when bought new from toyota??? Has anyone actually had problems with the new shortblock??? My engine runs fine now, compression figures were all more or less even across the 6 cylinders BUT at the end of it, its an engine I got a hold of to do my TT swap and I dont have any history of the engine so basically just thought of doing it for peace of mind and future proofing.
