How loud is BPU?

Yeah i really dont mind what it sounds like outside the car, just as long as I cant hear it in the car. Maybe I should go for a decent HKS exhaust and look into some extensive sounds proofing / deadening to keep the noise out of the car. Just want to be as discrete as possible really, but thats going to be a huge compromise for power.

just buy a Blitz Nur spec and a bung.

 

That way you get the best of both worlds. Stick the bung in when you want to be quiet and take it out when you want to full benefit of the mods !

Another option would be to fit an Apexi Exhaust Control Valve. This is basically a valve fitted in the exhaust that allows you to quieten the exhaust when needed, via a dash mounted controller. There are 2 control options either mechanical or electronic.

Yep, defo up for 1 of those, it will keep the neighbours happy when i'm warming the car up in the mornings anyway.

I've not heard one on a Supra, seen them on a couple of other cars and they do quieten the exhaust note a fair bit.

 

It is basically similar to having a baffle in the tail pipe, but with this option you can control when it is quiet
