Homer
They're pulling your leg If you have the button this means you most likely have an active front spoiler fitted - do you still have the stock front bumper? The front spoiler deploys at 60mph (I think), the Auto-Off button stops the spoiler from deploying. The 'Down' button deploys the spoiler manually but this can only be done with the engine off and the ignition on '2'. If its flashing then you have a fault, either the spoiler has been removed or its getting stuck. (either of which should result in big error light on tach)

Ian W
ya its an aftermarket front spoiler...Man..I wonder what affects the active spoiler would of had.. off the top of my head slightly greater stability when cornering at high speed. i wouldn't worry about it too much mate, most people like it just for the look
Thorin
Flashing active spoiler light means your car is about to explode, get out and run!!!!!1!
Soop Dogg
So, if the green light is flashing, you should have the big red warning triangle lit up on the dash too. This probably isn't a good idea as if it's on permanently, it won't alert you to new problems you might get.
Kranz
At least you now have a switch already fitted that you can use for something else!
