Daston
so how does that work out? They loose their son for doing what he is being paid to do and they get that! Not being funny but if a relitive of mine died in a horrific milk float accident wilst on a milk round (not that any of my family do this) i cant see me getting a monster truck kited out
Jspec Germany
Only the paint job was free. You'd have to understand American Patriotism and love for the soldier to get it.

I know, nothing would ever happen like that here. Kinda reminds me of that extreme makeover show where they turn mundane houses into mansions because of some tradegy, nothing like that here since 'Challenge Annika'

Kopite
Looks good, i like it..... but hasn't he got the towers of the WTC the wrong way around?
Bobbeh
Dont think so. The Northern most tower had the spike, ie the one on the left. In that shot we're facing east.
Kopite
Yeah the antenna was on the North Tower but i thought that the more inland one..... I'm comparing it to one of my posters on my wall which goes from the bridge, thought from any angle from a water shot that the North Tower would still appear to be the most inland. But hey i'm knackered so i'm probably talking shite

Ian C
You've got to appreciate the skill and effort involved, even if you don't like the end result If I had something like that I'd never drive it - one stonechip and -Ian

Pete
It was free, try reading the thread and what have native Americans have to do with the war on terror? I really don't appreciate your tone and am getting tired of it repeatedly aimed towards me. I thought it was a general American patriotism thing, not just war on terror. In my experience many tend to forget that part of their heritage which I feel is unjust. Clearly this comment was misplaced here. It's wasn't clear and I don't have time to spend staring pictures and reading every word appearing afterwards. I didn't even see the twin towers. It obviously cost somebody - a lot of time and materials. Congratulations, you're the first person to make it to my ignore list. !
Bobbeh
Someones having a bad day. My tone is bad? Just look at the tone in your post! All I was saying was if you read what was posted in the thread you'd have seen it was stated that it was done for free as the guy had lost his son. I couldnt give a hoot if you ignored me either. Pete
I've no idea what you've replied as I can no longer see it. For everyone else thinking I'm over reacting (and was wrong in the first place anyway ) it's simply that Bobbeh is one of those people who I've never agreed with a single thing he's had to say and visa versa. It happens, no point being a keyboard warrior about it. After my relaxing Kos holiday I've vowed to chop anything out of my life that causes me a hint of annoyance or stress. Therefore I expect to be spending less time contributing to the board in general

Bobbeh
I have nothing against you personally Pete and if you remember it was me putting my hand out to greet you at JAE a year or two back albeit breifly. We do have different opinions on things.. there is not problem with that... and most of these disagreements boil down usually wind ups about imports or manual gearboxes. In this instance, I believe you simply misunderstood what the pics were about, wading in overreacting with your bitchy comments and I simply pointed out what it was all about. I'm sorry if that upset you.

It's a nice video I don't do hugging. Physical contact with strangers (and lets face it, most people I know too) isn't something I'd advocate.
