JohnA
It doesn't sound like anti lag at all mate. I bet its a TTC switch. If you've got an aftermarket ECU it'll explain the huge overfueling and poping you get when the 1st turbo is 'supposed' to be online. It will also explain the noise difference In that case, I'd be keen to see the Autronic controlling all those sequential VSVs

bondango
I havnt seen the car yet, but im guessing they had to run in True twin mode the hard way i.e. bypassing the VSV's etc etc. If this was'nt done correctly you would have major problems. I think the Autronic SM4 antilag works by adjusting the G, Ne1, Ne2 Signals and injecting extra fuel while coming off the throttle. Though Phil says it hasnt been tuned on the RR yet, so that could be the cause of most of the problems he's getting.

I've got an extensive writeup on my site. Also don't forget that the VSVs have to be orchestrated when the throttle is lifted and the revs drop, as well as follow a different pattern on sudden high load compared to medium load gradually increasing. You can watch them pressurise/empty with a boost/vacuum gauge on the back of each one
Ian C
A measly 3 VSVs are used for the sequential system. One for the wastegate, one for the EVAP system. Not that bad only the timings and usage of the VSVs in the sequential system would probably be a real arsehole to remap yourself Although some people would probably like to do it for the technical challenge The E-Manage Ultimate can't do anti lag per se, but I think you could wire up a switch to the dip switches on the front of the unit to change ignition and fuel maps on the fly (if it likes that or not I don't know) to give loads of fuel and retarded ignition at idle/low rpms. However it can only pull 20deg maximum, I'm not sure if that would be enough. It can do ignition based launch control but alas the Supra ECU hates it with a passion and cuts fuel as soon as the ignition cut tries to happen. -Ian

Wonder if PHR will release the maps they have access to on the stock ECU's....
Wez
The AEM controls the sequential setup without issue and I found that it was alot more predictable with the AEM. You can also modify when you wanted the various VSVs to work using rpm inputs.
