Sheefa
Hi all, Just wondered if you add anything like a RON additive to improve the fuel mix and increase it to 99 or something. Is this even possible?? Someone mentioned it the other day. I've been filling my car up on Esso Premium which is about 97 I think - hoping that's ok. Don't Tesco do a 99RON now, or again am I mistaken? Thanks.

Thorin
If you do want an "octane booster" get some Toluene from your local chemical suppliers.
Kranz
Be careful handling Toluene though as it may be carcinogenic & can cause respiritory problems. Wear gloves & organic vapour mask.
