Don't you need to control the fuelling too when using the UK injectors on a jap TT, e.g. using a Apexi FC thingy?

You'll need some way of controlling the fueling if you increase the size of injectors, regardless of whether they are OEM UK or aftermarket.

Sorry for this late post, been busy.If i fit Power Enterprise 650 or 550 injectors for example for the hybrids(which are making 1.3-4 no probs);what will i need to controll them?If i put on cams(which?),will it make much difference to the the power output?I would like to try to get as much from the hybrid set up as i can.I have a GReddy 3 row intercooler, oil and auto coolers, braided lines,HKS fcd,HKS cooler plugs.Apexi intake, full de-cat,Apexi N! exhaust,Walbro fuel pump,GReddy boost controller.Had i the wherewithall i would have gone for the PHR stage 2 kit,but i don't,not yet.Any tips on maximising the hybrid set up?:conf:

wouldn't the SAFC or SAFC2 control 550s (up to a point)?

safc2 can control up to 720-750cc max.

so, yes 550 will be no problem with the safc2.

Thanks for the replys.Sorry for the tardy response;have been away for a while.Which, though is the better option to go with, regardihg a management system?Safc2 or e-manage,blue or otherwise?Where this could be mapped in N.Ireland i'm not sure.Maybe Bondango will know.Talking to myself again.:)

The SAFC-2 will work fine. But you'll get better results with the E-Manage.

The SAFC-2 has 2 maps lo/hi. Both are mapped against 12 user defined RPM points. The maps are triggered against throttle %. Apparently, there is a HW modification to the SAFC-2 you can do - so you can map against boost pressure ... I don't think if anyone here has tried it.

Whereas the EM - has 16 user defined RPM points, it can adjust ignition timing, it can map against boost, removes fuel cut. And no doubt many other handly features. Does everything you want - all in one box. Good for future tuning.

As far as mapping of the EM is concerned - as you say Bondango might be able to help you as he's in your neck of the woods ... but the only people that I know of that has EM competence is Ian C & Paul Whiffin.

Clarkey I recieved the UK spec Ignition wiring/circuit diagrams/Ecu pinouts from Toyota but hav'nt really had time to go through them all, The only difference i did note was that UK cars produced in the 1st 4 months of production used a different Igniter Part number - i thought id cracked it at this point but unfortunately i Think Ian had this part number in one of his installs :-(

I aint give up, and will set aside a few weeks coming into the winter to see if it can be cracked.
