Jspec Germany
Do a search on google under strip clubs.. j/k Go to Time Square and then walk around and eat at all the street vendors. Statue of Liberty of course and catch a sporting event if time permits.

Just turn up and wander round, get one of those bus rides on the first day then you will see loads of stuff and decide what you want to see in more detail. simonas
went to New York for 30th this year and its just the best place I have ever been. you will not be bored and basically its just good to walk around the place and eat and drink as you go cos all the sights are all around you. Manhattan isn't as big as you would expect so everywhere is reachable. Statton Island feery is good and free and takes you by Statue of Liberty and you get awesome views of Manhattan Island as you come up river
Bobbeh
Loads of places and as with London, too many to list but here are a few: Liberty Island + Ellis Island, Empire State Building, Rockafella Center, Time Square, Macys, 5th Avenue, Central Park, Natural History Museum/Googenheim (sp?), USS Intrepid (WW2 air craft carrier), Helicopter Ride is deffo worth it, as is a bus ride on the double deckers, a great way of getting a feeler for the place. Jspec Germany
Prob think were Irish. Yanks stupid fuds. Can you tell the difference between someone from Kentucky and South Carolina? NO? Then knock off the anti-American crap. If so, consider yourself blessed as most people in the U.S. can't either. There are stupid people everywhere you go, that doesn't make everybody there stupid or ignorant. For anybody ever traveling to the states, don't ever be afraid to PM and ask anything. I've been to almost every state and most of the big cities. Especially if you're going to Vegas! Just remember, there's a lot to see and do outside the big cities and the best people you'll meet live away from the cities. rant over.
Charlotte
I'm soooo jealous. Really really REALLY want to go to New York. In fact I have a dream about living there (have I mentioned this before? ) I will one day, this is where I'll meet Justin Timberlake, we'll marry, have babies etc etc.
