lust2luv
225 front, 245 rear on standard 16s. 10mm more for 17s. HTH
Faye
My NA came with 16s on and it was 225 on both the front and rear. Rectified that little problem now!!!
blackmax
I've got some really nice Dare X2 rims from my FTO. all the tyres are 225 at the moment, but I can fit wider rubber on the back if needed.. what do you think..?? http://www.blackmax.demon.co.uk/FTO.jpg
Rob
Oh Cobblers. I've just had some 225s put on the back today.
Branners
I belive some NAs did come with 8" front and back so 225 all round is what they might have had. JIC always have a supply of 16s sitting there, normally with the 8" front 9" rear and they only cost £50. JB
blackmax
I can fit up to 245's on these rims I think, so it should be ok. Don't know what the ride will be like. It's fairly stiff already on the lowered springs. heres a mock up of how it may look.. http://www.blackmax.demon.co.uk/supra.jpg
Scooter
Whilst not ideal your not going to just fly off the road at the next available corner. Just have to bear it in mind if you go that route that it is not the optimal setup. It does IMO make tyre choice even more critical ie if you're going/staying narrow then don't compound this with poor tyres.
blackmax
Cheers scooter, the tyres on at the moment are Falken, are they ok..??.
Scooter
No first hand experience of them myself so can't really say. i assume they were bearable on the FTO? I'd put them on for a trial period and initially just take it easy and see how it feels.
Rob
Well, I always go for SO3's and got just 6-7 months out of the last rear pair, so I suppose it's academic really as we're only talking about normal road use. Once again, Netto car park has been tainted with black rubber prior to the new tyres being fitted, but I managed to avoid breaking my PS pump this time:D :D

Rob
Yes, top tip if you're donutting, DON'T continuously yank the wheel over at full lock.
