How do you eat your sandwiches?

It occurred to me that when eating sandwiches I always eat them starting at the bottom of the slice leaving the more well-done top end til last. Am I alone in my sandwich eating peculiarity?

Also, has anyone done that where you eat all the crusts off from round the edge of a slice of bread then squash the remaining bread into a little dough ball before eating?

Thanks for listening.

I'm sorry. Can you please define which is the top and which is the bottom? I feel it is vitaly important I understand this before casting a vote which may skew the votes on such an important issue.

My sandwiches are invariable cut like this :

But we have Square bread, which means it's doesn't really have a top and a bottom.

I'm confused now....

My sandwichs are SQUARE. So there's no definite top and bottom.

Some slices may be upside down on top of right way up ones! - my God WHAT WOULD I DO THEN!!!?

He could mean he eats the top layer first?

No, no, no. There is definately a top, when the bread is sat baking in the tin and rises the top of the crust gets darker. In the picture above, the top of the bread, is at the top.

What's that? Sounds like a desease.

Right, you know how bread isn't symmetrical? RCP is the method whereby you take the first slice and flip it over before buttering but then you butter the second slice as it comes off the loaf.

This way, when you put the two slices back together they match up and you don't have filling falling out.

Interesting idea, but it's too much messing about for me. I just want to eat it.
