garetheves
Depends how heavy you want to go really. My fav band at the mo is Trivium by a long way but they are very heavy. If you like Metallica then download (as a backup to the original that you bought obviously) the Kerrang CD from a few weeks ago. Its the Master of Puppets album covered by various bands including Trivum, Bullet for my Valentine and a few others. I like it. Also try these bands: Theory of a Deadman - Almost exactly the same as Nickelback. 12 Stones 3 Doors Down A perfect circle Adema Creed (they are alterbridge but with the original singer, AB are better but creed are ok) Disturbed Dragonforce Within Temptation Funeral For a Friend Bullet for my valentine Him Iron Maiden I could go on but not sure how heavy you want your music. garetheves
Got the Wolfmother album the other day as well. Sounds like a cross between Ozzy/Sabbath and Def Leapod in their prime.
RedM
There's heavy and then there's HEAVY. The likes of Converge and Dillinger Escape Plan are heavy.

Supragal
I've not bought any new music of ages... I'm gonna check some of those out. The newest album I have is Disturbed 10 thousand fists. I found that one to be a bit of a grower compared to their other 2.

michael
I'm getting into "In Flames" at the moment, the missus has made "My Chemical Romance" grow on me too - a bit 'pop' compared with the stuff I normally got for but worth a listen, second album anyway.
