terribleturner
About to go check on my car, jump on my bike and my earphones are flickering on and off. So i go out of my way to the shops to buy a new set and then on my journey. As i hit the M1 slip road off the M25 the battery in my MP3 player dies, so i pull over and change the battery. I go to start the bike and nothing, just clicking like a low battery. Thing is i only changed the battery a couple of months ago so can't be that. Call my breakdowwn people who tell me im gonna have to pay a £58 call out charge and then £2 a mile. So i sit on the grass verge enjoying the sun for about an hour and the blokey arrives. I tell him the problem and go to turn her over and boom she starts. Still have to pay the £58 but im now mobile again. He reconed it was a loose battery conection. So im off again on the M1, but just before Toddington services as im making my way through traffic all the power goes and the bike is slowing up FAST. I carefully make my way to the hard shoulder and then wheel it in the services. I borroww some tools from an AA man but can't find a fault. A few phone calls later andd alot of thinking i bow down to breakdown service guy again. 7 Hours out of the house and £220 lighter. Oh what a day. Can't wait for tomorrow

terribleturner
Tryed bump starting it, but both times i was on a fairly flat surface and with the weight i managed about 5mph and that was that Ian i would have preffered to have been lost again than sat at the services for 5 hours playing video games and sunbathing Fingers crossed it'll be fixed quick and cheaply. The engine is rebuilt and is ready for me to stick the single on. Just need to get hold of transport now to get up to MK
