Thorin
Think it's 9006 for UK spec, 9005 for j-spec (unless it changed with facelift cars), but I can't remember.

Dave222
Fitted HID kit to my J-Spec with 9005 bulbs you just need to file a small bit off two of the lugs, takes 10 minutes, use a bit of cardboard to make a template from your original bulbs. VELOCITY
Ive got a 8000k HID system in my J-spec cost just under £200 and used 9005 bulbs

You shouldn't need to do any modification to a 9005 HID kit, on normal bulbs you will need to file the ribs on the connector so that they can connect with the loom. I have been told its a 9006 I need....but could do with clarifying if any members have had it installed. Correct J-spec bulb specs are: Low Beam = 9006J High Beam = 9005J However the J bulbs are not available outside of Japan AFAIK and I have never seen an HID kit with these bulbs. The 9006J has a narrower body compared to the 9006 (HB4) bulb (20mm and 22mm respectively, see diagrams) so the 9006 (HB4) will not fit in J-spec headlight. To get around this you can fit a 9005 (HB3) bulb in the dip beam instead, on an HID kit this should be a straight swap, with a normal 9005 bulb you will need to file off the ribs on the bulb connector. http://img453.imageshack.us/img453/7446/90069006j2db.jpg http://img453.imageshack.us/img453/4710/90059005j9xk.jpg

Nic
Why not try Nic above, he'd have more competitive price than that id say ! Thanks The HID kit I sell is actually a little more including postage (£5 more ), but is the best performing kit for the money that I have tested (I have tested a lot!!). There are a LOT of cheap HID kits now on the market, that are utter cr*p, ie. give worse illumination and are prone to failing. Cheaper is definitely not better when it comes to HID kits, you tend to get what you pay for.
