I was watching the rally. when the commentator mentioned about the popping, saying it may not sound healthy (maybe so but sounds awesome :D ) but it keeps the turbos spooled. I cant rememebr what he called it or the kit that done it, does anyone know anything bout this or website on it and can you buy the kit to keepur turbos spooled or Road car?

im surprised i aint done a REPOST, im good at them!

im really intersted in this! i think quite clever, just at moment cant think at all how they keep turbos spooled, unless build up back pressure and valve on exhaust opens and as pressure releases it kinda sucks the turbo along?!?!

lol......then again prob not!

Hey Guys,

I can run antilag on mine as its part of the AEM but not a good idea on ceramic turbos as already pointed out.

Antilag retards the ignition causing combustion with the exhaust open which forces the turbo to spin which generates boost.

I have tried it and was able to build between 0.5 - 1.0BAR of boost while sitting still, makes loads of noise and pops flames etc, I will play more when I get a single.

Oh yeah, most aftermarket ECU`s have antilag support.

I wish I had listened to my old dad more. He'd have said invest the £3K in something that will turn it into £3k plus. I'd probably have spent it on my car, girls, booze or all three, but in hindsight he was right, and I wouldn't have had to be working weekends and would probably have a clean job if I'd actually taken heed of what he used to tell me. As I said, dads usually know best.... :(
