Pete
Only happened since reconditioning my lights - I guess I wasn't so great with the sealant.
SupraStar 3000
pull out the bulbs attach two small bags of silicon gel to strings and pop them inside your lights. Turn on your engine and let the engine get warm for a few minutes then let mother nature do her stuff.

SupraStar 3000
good luck. I had condensation over Christmas and within a few days the silicon gel had absorbed the moisture and the lights went back to normal.
merckx
You can also use a hairdryer or hot air gun on the outside, but you should remove the bulbs first . I think the main cause is bad ventilation , I added an extra vent to the top of mine. The facelift lights on mine have a vent in the top, the earlier ones didn't. Pardon me for being blonde but do you then put your bulbs back in leaving the gel inside or take the gel bags out? Leaving it in would surely stop them from wetting up again???? Leaving it in would surely stop them from wetting up again???? no, take them out after the condensation has gone. After the gel has absorbed the water the bags are useless. The string makes it easy to pull the bags out so tape the end of the string to the outside of the light. This is not a cure, just helps remove the condensation before staining and discoloration

MKIVDreamer
After the gel has absorbed the water the bags are useless. Actually, they can be re-used. Stick them in the oven on a baking tray at 200C for about 10 minutes - good as new!
