Kip
Not only do I have to put up my drivers door being scratched in a car park and with being shunted a couple of weeks ago the latest is - I have to park my car across the front of my house - and whilst in bed last night I heard a strange noise rushing down the tiles on the roof of my house and - as I had my bedroom window open - all went quiet for a few seconds and then the loud BOINK, yep, you guessed it, a piece of slate came away and hit the roof of my car and has left a dent - I tell you, I'm now really fed up. What was once an absolute minter is turning into a bit of a mess. I don't think I'd be so upset if I'd caused all the problems and just didn't care but I haven't and I do. Friday rant over. Have a good weekend all. Kip.
Pete
Oh no! When it's really windy I often think about this happening. Has it scratched the paintwork or just dented? Maybe those dent master types can work it out?
Kip
Had thought of that and yep it's scratched and dented - still looking on the bright side it's the third thing to happen to the supe - hopefully no more, eh? Do you and the missus fancy a pint on Sunday?

Jake
Could have been worse Kip. A similar thing happened to a newly married guy I know but the slate hit his very attractive Mrs in the face. She's got a huge scar from her hairline right down her face to her chin now. Not much help, I know, but like I said it could have been worse. Fifty
Last year I had a slate come off the roof and smashed the screen. I fitted welding mesh along the gutter to stop em and no probs since 52:D

It's like all the stories you hear about trees falling on cars. How unlucky do you have to be to be in that exact spot at that speed for a tree to land on you? Why didn't she duck? I suppose she'll wonder that for the rest of her life. Weird world.
