I presume you're not wanting ddr sdram? its a bit early to presume anything yet mate im trying to do a budget update so i can run WoW without it freezing up, so SD Ram would be better, so i dont have to update my motherboard etc etc i aint even counted the pins yet lol, ill let you know. id only be interested in the 256s though, 2 from you plus my other one would give me 768MB... anyone else got any going cheap or free? carl0s Posted January 31, 2006 Share Posted January 31, 2006 You can identify 168 pin because there are two notches in there. One near the middle, and another about 15mm from the edge. The 184-pin DDR sticks only have the centre notch. I can't beleive I'm having to google this stuff (number of pins..)
