chilli Posted January 6, 2006 Share Posted January 6, 2006 Whats the link between 600bhp and a Manual Gearbox....? manual box being stronger, auto box has limits around here although depends where you get your figures as I read it was a little lower than this. See another thread somewhere about Ryan Woon's 1400bhp monster that does 8s 1/4's through the standard manual transmission (except for the clutch of course, what OEM clutch could take that lol). I see your angle....however since I have driven both the auto and manual (at the time of purchase)....I PERSONALLY prefer driving my car rather than it driving me regardless of the power....hence my choice of a manual. My advice to any newbie is to try both and then decide which one suits THEM best. Each to their own and lets not deviate from the thread subject.
