tbourner
That nodding cat looks good - Zoe'd like something like that! My worst was probably a Texas Hold 'Em Poker chip set with table cloth and chips caddy and everything - and that was a cool present so didn't really get any bad ones!! Ooh I did get an Alien fart pot from Superdrug - pot of goo that makes farty noises when you push your fingures in, but that's quite funny. Best was probably my Driving Force Pro steering wheel! Also got 3 driving games for the PS2 and 2 non-driving games! I'll be getting GT4 out again though I think.

Ceptik
Im sorry for your misfortune, Geoff's Wife. It must be hard to find out something like that, especially at this time of year. Im not one for words, but i sincerely hope things get sorted, or at least you find happiness again.

mawby
If what she posted is true then it cannot be libelous.Fair enough, but it being true and being able to prove it is a different matter. If you can't do the latter then it can still be libelous.

Jake
Bugger. Missed that entirely. What was the jist?Somebody's wife posted, using his UserID, saying that he'd left her just before xmas after she found out he was having a "special friendship" with one of his driving school pupils. She also claimed he's been ***king his under-age step-daughter. Shocking behavior, using somebody else's UserID

raymanuk
No bad presents for me this year. Though my Supra Drift RC is buggered!!! The little beast keeps cutting out on power. Starts off and dies and light are off too and then starts again and then stops again. Time to send it back and get a replacement. Tried all sorts, replaced battery in the remote control, changed to another 9v battery from my boys supra(his works) but no joy. Alex
My Girlfriend received Pot-Pouri off a works collegue...to whom my g/f gave a nice bathtime selection box sort of thing. If anyone can beat that I'll be amazed! Who on earth gives Pot-Pouri as a present to a mid twenties female? Neither of us could say anything when she opened it...think our faces said enough. Needless to say it got mixed up in the wrapping paper and has unfortunately slipped into the bin. The woman who gave it to her doesn't get out much me thinks. Alex
The woman has never been to ours no...and if she had she'd know that my g/f is a cleaning freak bless her, it's hard work getting her to relax and leave the flat alone! This woman is not exactly erm bright...and seriously lacks imagination (had to be led by the hand when it came to sorting out a fancy dress for a recent party). And she's mid 30's. Honestly we have no idea why she bought it, our guess is she pick 3 items out of a bargain bin...1 really cr@p calender (supposed to be a joke one but it's so unfunny it hurts), the pot-pouri and something else equally gash, we guess at a net worth of £2.99 for the lot. Quite honestly my g/f only bought her a present because this woman bought her one...but by christ do we wish she'd just gotten my g/f a card and had done with it. I'd rather receive a nice card than a load of tat that no-one would use. I'm glad I haven't met the woman (PS I'm not saying she didn't spend enough, I'm just saying what's the point of buying anything if it's just rubbish?)
