Worst present for xmas?

Pete

Recommended Posts

Well we've got up, unwrapped the pressies and stuffed the bird (we've got lamb for dinner) :eyebrows:

So what was the worst present you got this year?

We've done surprisingly well and got away scott free this year. Usually there's some kind of ornament destined straight for the hatch in the roof that an aunt or cousin expects to see pride of place on the mantle piece.

Worst for me was a socket set with a bendy shaft that's meant to work around corners. I've already got one. It doesn't work! :D

Is that the technical term?

It certainly is. And if (as I did in a previous life), you ever had the joy of ripping along down a track that was covered in mud, muck and water your back will apreciate how good they are.

what please explain:p

lol it's not that easy. A mate of mine (at the time) called Charles Bronson (the criminal not the actor) had me doing his web site (I was one of his managers) and he had a go at his ex manager on the site. His ex manager (proven criminal himself) was trying to sue me for slander. Normal everyday stuff really

My good lady went to the states a few weeks ago and came back with what she thought was the ultimate gadget for me and my car........a satellite radio tuner!

Honest this thing looks fantastic, according to the salesman it can pick up 170 radio stations, works all over the world and wont cost a penny after buying it, the reality is!

Only works in the USA

You need a cassette deck on the car to plug the device in (don't have)

You need to subscribe to it on a monthly basis

Need to rig up a bloody CB type Ariel on the car

BUT

It looks really cool :respekt:

Felt heart sorry for her as she thought I'd love it, which I do........it just don't work.

Anyone going to the states soon and want a sat radio tuner :scare:
