Aristo, now there's a sleeper.

If I knew about it, I'd probably go for one of those instead of the supra. I just loooove sleepers, plus they are practical and can be parked anywhere without attracting attention.

How about this one:yes:

I used to have a kawasaki 750turbo (internally 810cc running higher boost) re-made to look like a std 750.

I would even claim it was an earlier model.

Aircooled, 2valves/cyl, heavy, etc. An old tourer, as I'd describe it.

Fools with fancy liquid-cooled 750s (even 1100s) would fall for this crap, and 'talk me' into a race, to show me who's boss

Boy did they have a wakeup call:ecstatic:

Hi all,

I was just wondering if any of you more in tho know can give me a rough idea on whether i could get a supra of the following spec for around £4,000....

I'm basically after a twin turbo version, paintwork in good condition, bodykit and non standard alloys, and a milage of around 70,000 ish?

If i'm not likely to get one like this for £4,000 what would i be able to get me hands on for this amount of money?

Thanks in advance

Dave

IMO yes, if you buy at auction, no problem, also if you get someone desperate as a private sale. Most cars like Supras and Skylines are privately advertised with ludicrous price tags, when they eventually sell or are part exchanged the owners are often too sheepish to reveal the true price they got ;) I get offered TT's at that sort of money quite often, but i only buy and sell within the trade.

Hey Chris, next time you're offered a decent TT at that price but you don't want it, if you could let me know it'd be much appreciated!

Still waiting for my call about a nice black one too Lucifer :p
