James
The cam belt went on my car today!!! thankfully it was my little clio and not my supra. Unfortunately all the pistons are bent so it's the end of the road for the poor little thing. On the bright side though it does mean i have to drive my supe everywhere now, fun fun and more fun!!!...............do a 100 miles a day to and from work though so best get out a bank loan for fuel until pay day!! Bobbeh
.. and you wont get that happen with the Supra engine either.
CJ
It would have been better had the belt gone on the Supra as they are a non interference engine. You would then not have the problem of a dead motor.

James
I'm desperately looking for another car!! it's costing £20 a day in fuel!! Going to get something like a 306 turbo diesel, they seem quite cheap and think they give fairly good mpg. Anyone got any advice on them or on any other decent cars to buy? Bobbeh
Toyotas. Actually, pug build good diesel engines , its usually the rest of the car that falls to bits first.
