adi2009 Posted November 28, 2005 Share Posted November 28, 2005 , put this down to air flow meter not being attached so left it feeling quit good today same problems after fitting air flow meter, took plugs out and they were completely coked up (crap pic but you get the jist) J-spec NA's dont have mass air flow meters. Only US spec NA's have them, and I THINK all NA's in the UK are J-spec (they use MAP sensors instead). Try putting your old plugs back in again and starting it, if not try cleaning out the Iridium plugs carefully. Edited to say, if you had removed the O2 sensor it could have caused a very rich condition and clog up ur plugs, cuz your plugs def dont look good Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

suprasport Posted November 29, 2005 Author Share Posted November 29, 2005 well i tried everything today that i could think of, all the tests even compression on a cold engine, eventually decided to call out mobile engine tuner, for diagnostics, but tried rac on the off chance they would come out, they did and guess fu**ing what? it started first time and ran smoothly revved like a dream, felt a right fool, been trying since and everything perfect, couldn,t believe how much crap it kicked out though. very happy man, :clap: :woot: :thumbs: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

suprasport Posted November 29, 2005 Author Share Posted November 29, 2005 What was bloody wrong with it then?!?! -Ian wish i knew mate think it was just a bit clogged up from engine cleaning or cos it hadn,t been started in a while, or got coked up from one of those which made it worse, or just a a bit of everything. all i know is everything possible was checked and all ok so i certainly have peace of mind now.
