CJ
I am pondering a new "sideline" venture and need to get some figures together regarding car types and numbers owned of vehicles that normally lend themselves to modding. First of all, here is a small list of "moddable" vehicles that I came up with. You will note that i am interested in cars that have quite a sizable ownership base. Jap Imports Toyota Supra Mk3 Supra MkIV Celica MR2 Honda Civic Accord S2000 Integra Mazda RX7 MX5 Nissan 200sx Skyline 300Z Pulsar Suburu Imprezza Mitsu All Evo range FTO GTO I then thought about British cars that have a following that "mod" and came up with these (obviously more Chav): Mini Saxo Nova Corsa Focus Golf Pug Escort C2 Fiesta Clio Rover Have I missed any off that should be included? Bear in mind that I am thinking of cars that have a considerable following and not specialist types that attract fewer followers. If you can think of any, please cut and paste if possible. paul_y3k
CJ, If you're thinking chav cars .. why not search around most of the 'cruise' forums to see the type of cars used. most in your list and a few punto's too now appearing. Two I can think of are : http://www.wiltshirecruise.co.uk http://www.topsecretcruising.co.uk
tonyhawk
VW's have a huge modding scene; I know a few people who are into it and there are meet's (including Pod), cruses, even their own magazine. It's more of a labour of love than a seeking of blistering performance, but it depends what your 'venture' is aiming at I guess?
Ian R
The new beetle is starting to hit the mod scene now it is coming into the 7-10k price bracket.
