Mika
Has anybody ever replaced the trim while leaving the glass in place? I know it is meant to take the windshield off but it is doable without taking the glass out?
Mk4Gaz
Yes, I did it last summer Easy job. The rear windscreen rubber however is a total sod to do [emoji23]

Dave
Can you get the rear molding off without glass removal ?
Mk4Gaz
Can you get the rear molding off without glass removal ?Yes, but it's a pig to do. Fitting the new one is even worse with the glass in, but it can be done
jonc
Yes mate /QUOTE] I am intrigued how did you do that? My windscreen was taken out to do this?
keron
the originals are bonded in with the glass. they are clipped onto the glass first before you fit them. so a new genuine seal will not fit / seal correctly without removing the screen. Mk4Gaz
Is that a website or a person? Ta /QUOTE]Amayama is a website where you have to register, and you can order parts directly from Japan or UAE. You need to input the part numbers to search, and these can be found on megazip or toyodiy Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
