V160 flywheel bolts

I’m going to be doing my clutch this weekend. I have ordered a rear main oil seal just incase it’s leaking. I know that the flywheel bolts are stretch bolts. With the price being over £100 for 8 bolts that I might not even be needing to use , do many people replace them ?

100% replace. You would be mad not too for the money especially given some fairly catastrophic could happen. Clutches have come through Bellhousings before, I wonder what a moving flywheel at speed could do? Appreciate it would never fully detach but buy new bolts of simply for peace of mind.

I've heard horror stories of flywheels practically cutting a car in half, and taking the occupants legs with it. Definitely get new bolts.
