Brian_C1
Just in the process of removing the rear spats that came on my car, have one off and can't see any part number but they don't look like fiberglass to me, totally black and don't see any weave. Even on the cross section where they aren't painted they don't look like fiberglass but I'm no expert. Were any aftermarket spats made from plastic? Dim Sum
OEM rear spats are made from plastics and most aftermarket spats are fibreglass. If I remember correctly OEM will say toyota on the inside
Brian_C1
After checking further mine are definitely plastic, PPE (Polyphenylene Ether) to be exact, its stamped on the inside but barely visible with the paint. Don't see Toyota stamped anywhere though

Brian_C1
The will be a dull black plastic on the inside with a metal bracket where the bottom screw goes through Yep mine have the metal U-Bracket on the bottom, although the 2 rivets holding the bracket on have perished off so it'll need new rivets, mine are also a dull black on the inside. They're both off the car now so I'll put them up for sale tomorrow
