Screeching noise when turning left

For a few weeks now, every time i turn a quarter of a left turn, there is a massive screech which gets louder the further you turn left. It's embarrassing and getting to the point where i'm looking for routes home with no left turnings :search:

I've had the car in the air and can't see anything wrong or leaking. Also there's plenty of fluid in it as well. The steering feels normal as in, if you had earphones in and turned left, you'd never notice a difference. It doesn't always do the noise, like when first starting it up in the morning and turning left, its fine. It's as the trip continues and the more left turns you hit, the louder it gets.

I feel like it's something to do with the power steering pump or something going on at the bottom of the steering column.

I don't want to start trailing and buying expensive parts if one of you guys could help me out or has experienced this in the past.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I would say crank damper is de-laminating. Tipex test will confirm The PAS pump should work equally as hard in left and right turns, UNLESS there's n issue with the rack itself. Also check for tyre to dirt shields contact, especially with oversize wheels and tyres.
