Gearbox does not select 2nd ,4th or revert when cold . Car has been stored for a number of years. Annabella Posted November 23, 2017 Share Posted November 23, 2017 http://www.autogearboxservices.co.uk/ What was said above really, give it a 2L-6L change, (Dextron III from Toyota preston, Nigel quite helpful) undo the auto box nut underneath - with a catch tray under! Let it drain, put nut back on, refill through auto dipstick the same amount you've taken out, start it, go through all the gears. Repeat once or twice more and that may solve your problem.
