Milo500 Posted November 4, 2017 Share Posted November 4, 2017 Hi, Long story short, I have ruined my stock auto trans and spun through the clutch packs. The car is a gte from standard and converted it to single running 500hp (proven). My question is, as I cannot find a definately answer...is tge turbo supra gearbox the same as the na auto gearbox??? At the very least you need an A340 e (aka tt auto box) and I would get David P to do the line pressure upgrade mod. Add a couple of tranny coolers and you will be good to go at that hp. I have two 24 row coolers on there at the moment, however I am trying to figure out if i should... -buy a second hand stock suprs trans, -buy a th400 American trans and convert it for fairly cheap -rebuild my gearbox and do whatever the line pressure nod is. If so I think I know what you mean thanks. Can anyone tell me what the 30-40le is from? Is it the same as the a340e? Same with tge 30-40ls Are they for vvti models? and1c Posted November 5, 2017 Share Posted November 5, 2017 Cheap and TH400 conversion don't go together. Not a simple swap and you'd want the overdrive version of the TH400 and supra conversion kit.
