The most pertinent question to ask is whether any of these are cast from high nickel content cast iron like the stock manifolds. HKS do some cast manifolds, or did, for various jap engines, but they cut costs / maximised profit by using normal grey cast iron and they can and do crack and the flanges warp. Garret make their high performance turbo turbine housing from high nickel content cast iron to stop internal flaking (the cause of turbine wheel erosion or "pecking", and flange warping, they use a proprietary name for it "Ni-Resist"

Some interesting tech papers, the manifold material should be similar to high end turbine housing for high performance / race gasoline engine turbochargers.

FSR Motorsport in the US do a really nice cast manifold if you wanted something slightly different - http://fsrmotorsports.com/component/virtuemart/?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=129&category_id=22&Itemid=87

That is actually a SPA cast manifold that FSR modify and then charge a fortune for !!!

As you can see - this design has a slightly larger bore and "guides" the exhaust gases slightly with its ported shape - this also benefits from further porting and machining if you can be bothered.

They are made from High Nickel cast iron and have been making turbo parts for years.

So... decided to go single have you!? Thought you were happy with the hybrid setup? Or are you just fed up of being neck and neck when racing my auto? ;)

Well, got Chris Wilson suspension, with 305 width rear and 265 width front tyres now. Once my tracking is aligned and my bushes are replaced we'll see ;)
