When working It Also lights up if you tried to open the door when locked and at the same time the ignition barrel & footwell lights would come on. I always thought that my jspec na didnt have this until my door lock ecu failed. When I replaced it with a new used one, it started working. The door lock mechanism works fine but i was wondering if it's some sort of sensor behind the door handle, when I used to grab the door handle and pull on it while locked the light would come on around the door lock and also the ignition barrel and footwell lights for a few seconds then go off, now doing that it doesn't work but when you unlock the car and open the door the light comes on around the ignition and footwell (not sure about the door lock when it's open as haven't looked) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Big Mark Posted July 25, 2017 Share Posted July 25, 2017 (edited) My car is stripped ready for painting so I took out the drivers door barrel. Doesn't look like it illuminates. Both it and passenger barrel have 3 wires going to them but with 7 pin plugs on the ends. Do I have a non illuminating car?
