JohnK
Hi guys, been running really well on stock ECU, stock injectors. Been running at 1.2bar now done around 3500 miles and still going strong What size stock injectors and without an SAFC or e-manage?
samsupra37
Injectors are 440 stock j-spec and everything else is stock.. Have lots of bits to put on but won't do that till new manifolds and throttle bodies arrive....
JohnK
How does that turbo compare to a boostlogic T61? I take it you are monitoring the AFR's?
samsupra37
Greg is monitoring the AFR and will ask him how it compare with the T61 as I must be honest I have no idea bit thick where it comes to that....sorry
JohnK
Only asking as running 1.2bar with 550 injectors on the stock ecu would run very lean on my car.
Lucifer
Worth reading: http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upload/showthread.php?t=42148 This was actually proved to be some dis-marketing from an american company. They Purposly nroke it and photographed it.. If you look the Tubine is brand new. And thus physical damage would not occur.. etc tec etc

gregsupra4
Sorry poor old Samantha called me and asked what her Supra was running with regard to AFR she did not hear me right so here is what her Supra is running. AFR: 15.8 Lamda: 1.02 Her Injectors at 6400 rpm are running at 84% of duty. Intake-Charge Temperature:123 degrees F Hope that gives you the info you need. JohnK
AFR 15.8 at what boost, Id like to know it at full throttle / boost. If that is at full chat I'd like someone (Ian / Alex?) to tell me how that turbo compares to a boostlogic T61. Also what power are you putting out?
Alex
15.8:1 on boost is early bath time. You will blow the engine up...sooner or later. You should be at worst at 12.5:1 on full boost. John, to compare the twqo turbo's we'd really need a dyno sheet for both, and to have them run back to back on the same car....but RPM's in 5th are a good indicator of how big the turbo is. Er, 15.8:1 is great under closed loop and idling conditions, at the outer-swing of the closed loop cycle. You can't seriously be running that on boost? 1.2bar? On 440's? I hope you kept the cash you saved by not upgrading the fuel system or mapping it - it's gonna come in handy real soon. -Ian
wkdtime
My first ressurection post:) Did any ever find out if the AFR's quoted above were on idle or at WOT?
Clarkey
LOL! I didn't realise this was an old thread - till the end! I think they must be on WOT - as on cruise & idle the duty cycle can't be that high !?
