Positive rake on Supra?

Recommended Posts

Hi all, wondering if anyone has applied a positive rake to their supra (where the rear is raised higher than the front- correct me if I'm wrong).

I quite like the idea of raising the back end with an already low front end. I can't say I've seen much of this around on the forums unless it's very subtle or its generally just not in good taste? I'm sure the effects in downforce are very minor though. Would like to know people's thoughts on this :)

A lot of the US big power cars run like this but they all have huge drag radials so don't have much choice. They mainly run in straight line highway pulls so cornering wouldn't matter much. Personally for UK roads I'd keep it quite neutral, although a little extra height at the rear gives the car room to squat 😉 I run mine like that but only to aid traction in a straight line

Cheers for the responses guys I'm really liking the look even as a subtle effect and an active squat set up would be incredible.

How does one go about doing this? Is it just certain coilovers? Because I've noticed there's no gap in rear wheel arches to the tyre...
