Kendo11
Saw this earlier on fb, US pages. Not a great picture but looks like a custom sunroof install. Anything like this ever been done over here?
j_jza80
There was a guy from India who signed up here a few years ago with a silver Supra which had a similar install. When you looked closely, you could tell it didn't fit very well, the Supras roof is too curved.
evinX
Its been done many many times, quite often in Australia. Bangladesh and theres a red and black one in the uk that ive seen. Don't like it. Aerotop FTW.
keron
I had a red one for breaking maybe 8-9 years ago which had a tilt slide one fitted! Awful fit as the roofs have a slight curve!
Kendo11
Wonder how difficult it would be to do, or to do a tbar type thing on a hardtop?
j_jza80
You'd be much better off starting with an aerotop if you wanted a T-bar, as a lot of fabrication would be required. Veilside built a gullwing Supra in the 90s, which would prove similarly challenging. As for a sunroof, i wouldnt bother. When sunroofs go wrong, and they do, they are a nightmare to sort out. It's cost me several hundred £ to get mine working 100% on my Corrado, and I daren't use it regularly incase something happens to it
