Just measure the top elbow coming off the engine, and the spigot on the radiator :)

Lol that was a good idea, and I have my spare polished top neck to check against. Thanks

The reason behind me asking Is I have just had a hard pipe made for my NA as you can not buy them, but it looked narrower than expected, but its exactly the same as the top neck so all is good!

Any idea what size and make silicone pieces people use to join the TT hard pipes?

I would use as long a peice of silicone as possible, especially on the radiator end. The plastic spigots on the radiator are known for cracking, and this can be attributed to hardpipes taking away all of the tolerance of the stock hose. Obviously your engine moves during use, the radiator doesn't.

You will need at least half an inch clearance at each end.

A tape measure, hacksaw and half round file are your friends.

 brilliant thanks. Will have to see what I have. If it need alterations it will go back as it will need thee bead rolled back into it.
